Job Description:
Diamond Vogel is looking for a dedicated Coordinator for the Engineering and Maintenance Department to work closely with our team at our Orange City, Iowa corporate location.
The Engineering and Maintenance Coordinator will help control costs and improve efficiency through competitive quoting and coordinated purchasing of raw materials, spare parts, tools, services and equipment for the Engineering and Maintenance functions.
This position will also aid in the planning of preventative and corrective maintenance to be completed on time and cost effectively.
Responsibilities:
Manage incoming Work Requests through computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) software.
Process purchase requisitions and communicate with vendors as necessary.
Match order receipts, PO's and invoices; communicate with accounting.
Generate and aid in scheduling of Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders.
Support CMMS system user administration at all facilities.
Enter new equipment asset data into CMMS as required.
Load new PM information into CMMS as required.
Coordinate shipping/receiving activities for the Engineering and Maintenance Department.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or general equivalency diploma, higher education helpful.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Motivated and organized individual with good time management abilities.
High level of computer literacy to include Microsoft Office products.
Must be adaptable with ability to work cross-functionally.
Understanding of engineering and maintenance activities preferred.
CMMS system management experience preferred, willing to train.
Maintenance planning & scheduling experience preferred, willing to train.
ERP system experience ideal.
Typical work hours will be Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
Earnings will be commensurate with experience.
