Head Athletic Trainer
Northwestern College invites applications for a 10-month staff position as head athletic trainer. The position is currently open, and applications will be accepted until it has been filled. The anticipated start date is in mid-August.
We seek a certified athletic trainer with expertise and experience in athletic training, clinical instruction, and classroom teaching. Northwestern College competes in the NAIA and is a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). Northwestern also offers an undergraduate degree in athletic training.
The head athletic trainer will be responsible for scheduling and meeting the athletic training needs for 18 varsity sports teams, providing clinical instruction for students who are enrolled in the athletic training major, teaching emergency care, and providing direct care to athletes.
Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in athletic training, exercise science or a related field. Northwestern College is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America and seeks candidates with an authentic Christian faith who will support the college'smission,Reformed and evangelical identity, and commitment to Christian liberal arts as expressed in ourVision for Learning.
